Have you ever heard of mountain pasta? Well, we are no pasta experts, but we are sure you would love it just as much as we do.
Casa Prencipe is a pasta factory situated in the heart of Gargano National Park in Apulia, close to the Umbrian forest.
There was no better way to try their burnt wheat flour orecchiette than with a classic sauce of anchovies and broccoli, topped with flavorful breadcrumbs and chilli pepper.
Once again, simple, yet delish!
Giovanna and Domenico, the owners, oversee each step of the small production. Presently, they only produce a few quintals per day, simply mixing mountain water and local semola. This is what allows them to achieve an amazing final product.
Their passion and commitment to sustainability makes Casa Prencipe an honorable example of a company rooted in the Italian tradition, while embracing innovation and consciousness.
