Eat Wasted daFusillo
Open studio and dining experience with Eat Wasted
Two weeks ago we spent the day with Alessio and Matteo from Eatwasted, a honorable project that was born in Copenhagen with the aim of using wasted bread to make pasta.
They brought a pasta machine to our studio and we transformed Fusillo Lab into a real pasta factory, just for one day.
At lunch time we visited the local market and we collected unsold vegetables and fruit that would have ended up in the trash and we used them to make sauces for the (freshly made) pasta.
During the afternoon and while prepping for dinner, we opened our studio to whoever wanted to find out more about Eatwasted and get to share the behind-the-scenes of their production.
And what better way to celebrate the successful day than a pasta night? Great food, amazing people, nice music and a refreshing beer from Ibrida - a local startup that produces beer from wasted bread.
We are proud to know so many innovative projects that share our values and vision.
It was a blast, hope to see you at the next open studio!
Thanks to everyone who joined the event and to our collaborators for making this day this great!
